ASA Studios is an international award-winning professional lighting design practice with studios in Saigon, Bangkok, and a commercial office in Singapore, where we work on projects worldwide. The practice originated in the UK, and now has got over 15 years of experience working on projects in Europe, the Middle East, and now focusing on South East Asia, the world’s most dynamic and exciting area.
We are now one of the biggest independent lighting design practices in the region, operated from two design studios with an unrivalled team of talented designers with collective expertise in architecture, design, and engineering; and a network of external expert advisors and partners. This strength enables us to achieve our clients’ high design requirements with a high degree of creative imagination and technical competence.
We are proud of our international recognitions and acclaims, including award from the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD). We are working with global partners like Atkin, Aedas, UN Studios, Giorgio Armani, GMP, Foster & Partners, Zaha Hadid Architects, Wilson Associates, HBA/Hirsch Bedner Associates, WATG, as well as several international acclaimed talents.
We are leading lighting design specialist in luxury hospitality design; with a portfolio of over 50 premium hotels and resorts, working with 20 hotel brands, and is qualified consultant for the world's top hotel brands like Accor, Bayan Tree, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, Marriott, Lux, and Rosewood/New World.
ASA is an independent lighting design consultant. We do not provide supplying or installation services. We work for the benefit of our clients, and are not influenced by any commercial gain. We are members of the IALD - an internationally recognized organization dedicated solely to the concerns of independent, professional lighting designers, and are very active internationally in promoting good lighting through education, research, and social activities. ASA sponsors several Lighting Scholarships and Awards for design students at regional universities.
